Role Overview
- Lead and manage a team of 4-6 video editors
- Define the editorial point of view for HubSpot’s Video Team
- Set clear quality standards and creative frameworks
- Partner with Video Creative Leads to plan and prioritize resources
- Lead AI adoption within the editorial group
- Provide detailed, actionable feedback on edits
- Build a team culture rooted in creative ambition and growth
- Stay ahead of how the editing craft is evolving because of AI
Requirements
- 8-10+ years of experience in video editing or post-production
- At least 3 years directly managing editors or editorial teams
- Strong editorial eye and can articulate what makes an edit work
- Familiarity with AI-assisted editorial workflows
- Deep familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro
- Working knowledge of After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, and Adobe Audition
- Strong organizational instincts
