Independently conduct in-depth academic research on the application of AI in the supply chain, with a focus on demand forecasting, commodity price forecasting, replenishment and related topics.
Design, methodically develop and practically validate your findings (e.g., using real or provided datasets).
Analyze and evaluate models, methods or use cases with respect to their practical applicability.
Coordinate closely with our team and gain insights into ongoing client projects to place your work in a practical context.
Work on a topic of your choice to be agreed with us, which should have both scientific and practical relevance to our projects.
We will support you with data, expertise and, if necessary, a small budget to help you successfully carry out your research.
Own ideas and suggestions are explicitly welcome.

You are enrolled in a Master's program in Business, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or a comparable field.
You already have some experience in academic research and in preparing and processing data.
You are interested in quantitative questions at the intersection of AI, analytics and supply chain management.
You have very strong analytical skills and can present complex issues in a structured and comprehensible way.
You work independently, in a structured manner and with high initiative.
You are proficient with common Office applications (especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint); ideally you have initial experience with data analysis tools or programming languages.
Very good German and English skills complete your profile.
