As a curriculum designer you will primarily serve as a designer for online and in-person, instructor-led, and blended learning projects using instructional design principles.
The incumbent will be expected to use learning software such as Articulate 360 and PowerPoint to include interactive elements such as audio, video, quizzes, and scenarios in training material.
This position uses design and project management principles to enhance the content of courses.
Those requiring or seeking training provided by the Bureau of Governance and Professional Development are procurement and contract management professionals.
Requirements
Minimum Two years of experience developing instructional materials and maintaining courses or programs.
One year of experience with course design software (Articulate 360, PowerPoint, Captivate, etc.).
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in the fields of instructional design, adult education, performance improvement, communications, psychology, or a related field.
Two or more years of experience utilizing specialized course design software.
Knowledge of State of Florida procurement statutes (Chapter 287) and rules (60A).
