You design and implement high-performance backend systems based on Java, Hibernate and Oracle.
You work on the architecture and development of our web application and ensure smooth integration between frontend and backend.
You optimize SQL queries to continuously improve the performance and stability of our applications.
You ensure the highest quality standards through code reviews and the use of automated tests, and promote best practices.
You take ownership of technical decisions and actively contribute new ideas and innovative solutions to development.
You work closely with our Product Owners to shape forward-looking solutions that meet our customers' needs.
You are part of an experienced, agile development team and benefit from a high degree of autonomy and short decision-making paths.
Requirements
Several years of experience (minimum 5 years) in application development and software architecture
Strong Java skills and proven experience with JPA/Hibernate and REST services
Experience optimizing databases and SQL performance, preferably using Oracle
Ideally, frontend experience with web technologies such as Angular or JSF
Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins)
Completed education in computer science (university, university of applied sciences, or technical college)
Knowledge of agile development methods (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
Strong communication skills, team orientation and the ability to think both technically and solution-focused
Very good German skills (C1) and basic English skills (B1)
