Calculations Analyst, Mid-level

Role Overview

• In the Legal BPO, our operations cover several specialized teams, including registration and maintenance of case files and processes, search for supporting materials, preparation of calculations, strategic activities for our clients, recording of eSocial events, support in negotiating settlements, management of court payments, scheduling control for hearings and professional representatives, reconciliation of deposits, handling procedural acts (service of process, notices and publications), and closing of files and cases.
• We are looking for a Calculations Analyst for the Legal BPO to work with a strategic banking client, directly contributing to the efficiency and quality of deliveries. Responsibilities include:
• Perform initial contingency (provision) assessments.
• Perform contingency assessments for decisions (judgments and appellate rulings).
• Prepare execution-phase calculations (submissions, challenges, various filings).
• Prepare supporting materials for EE and AP, counter-arguments, settlement breakdowns, and calculation updates.
• Respond to attorneys' emails.
• Prepare accounting opinions/reports.
• Prepare provision calculations.
• Perform judgment liquidation, objections/contestations, and execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (completed).
• Previous experience (2 years) with judicial calculations and legal routines in the civil sphere.
• Advanced Excel proficiency (formulas, pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Previous experience (2 years) with judicial calculations and legal routines in the civil sphere.
• Experience working in large law firms or legal departments.
• Familiarity with civil and mass litigation.
• Experience with banking calculations.
• Organizational skills, attention to detail, and an analytical mindset.
• Good time management and organization to handle multiple demands.
• Clear communication for interaction with attorneys and clients.
