About this role
Role Overview
- Own and evolve the GitLab ecosystem and CI/CD platform.
- Collaborate closely with development, QA, security, and operations teams to build automated deployment pipelines.
- Administer and govern GitLab repositories including access controls and permissions.
- Design and implement GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and manage GitLab Runners.
- Standardize release management and artifact lifecycle.
- Embed DevSecOps practices in pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning across OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Implement monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 6+ years of professional experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native environments.
- Strong experience administering GitLab CI/CD and managing runners.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (OpenShift, EKS, AKS, K3s).
- Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting.
- Experience with container technologies (Docker, Podman) and container registries.
