Design, develop, and maintain enterprise websites using WordPress and Drupal.
Build custom themes, plugins, and reusable components aligned with design systems such as the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS).
Implement integrations with external systems and APIs including identity providers, analytics platforms, and data services.
Collaborate with designers and product teams to deliver responsive, accessible front-end implementations.
Contribute to CMS architecture decisions including content modeling, taxonomy, and reusable components.
Work with technical lead to automate content migrations and conduct data integrity validation.
Ensure solutions meet accessibility, security, and performance standards and contribute to engineering best practices.
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, estimation, and backlog refinement.
Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot production issues, and improve system reliability.
Work with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and platform operations.
Other relevant duties as qualified and trained to assume.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering , 7+ years of professional web development experience, or equivalent practical experience (10 years without degree)
Experience building and maintaining web applications and content management platforms, including WordPress + Drupal.
Proficiency with PHP, HTML, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), and JavaScript.
Experience integrating APIs and third-party systems.
Demonstrated understanding of accessibility standards such as Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).
Familiarity with design systems such as the U.S. Web Design System (USWDS) or similar component frameworks.
Experience working in Agile teams using Git-based workflows.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust security clearance.
