Providing general legal support, advice and guidance to internal teams and ExCo
Drafting, review and negotiation of a variety of commercial contracts and licences
Assisting the legal team on various corporate matters including corporate records and filings
Draft, review and negotiate a range of commercial contracts with clients and vendors (including NDAs, Vendor Agreements and Consultancy Agreements)
Assist with corporate work including company secretarial and international expansion
Research, monitor and advise on compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks
Assist with matters relating to data privacy and security, including GDPR compliance, data breach response, and vendor due diligence
Assist with ad hoc projects
Work with external legal counsel as and when appropriate to ensure third party advice is always sought in the best and most efficient manner
General legal support to the legal department, including organisational and administrative tasks
Requirements
Legal background with either LLB, GDL, SQE or CILEX qualification
Excellent time management skills and ability to manage a high volume of work
Ability to work autonomously and independently
High level of written and interpersonal communication skills
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Be open-minded and willing to accept new challenges
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
No legal work experience is necessary, but experience working in a business (in any capacity) is highly valued
Fluency in English.
