Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, status reports, and project evaluations/assessments.
Establish project resource assignments, ensure all parties involved have appropriate representation in project meetings, and act as a liaison between team members, customers, company departments, and outside contractors.
Act as a single point of contact for project stakeholders and relevant internal departments, while maintaining accountability for the overall success of the project from start to finish.
Monitor the project team to ensure that project accountability and deliverables are met on time and within budget while utilizing expertise and leadership skills to resolve any issues that might prevent project goals and requirements from being met.
Create a system of reports, monitoring progress and identifying problems.
Lead the effort to find solutions that keep projects on track and within budget.
Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs.
Clearly communicate (and if needed, escalate) challenging issues that jeopardize project success, professionally and without bias.
Participate in change management and process improvement initiatives, as well as provide recommendations to improve/enhance existing procedures and controls.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Project Manager Professional certification required.
10+ years of related experience.
Knowledge of systems and systems development methodology.
Experience with large systems implementations, particularly defining requirements, writing, and executing test scripts.
Ability to develop and maintain strategic partnerships with senior business unit management, business partners, project sponsors, and customers globally.
Ability to communicate effectively with business and development teams, end users, and product owners. This includes both written and verbal communication, as well as strong presentation skills.
