About this role

Planning, design and operation of complex security infrastructures (e.g., firewalls, IPS, VPN, SIEM/SOAR, proxy)
Co-design and implementation of security & network transformations and migrations
Analysis, troubleshooting & debugging of network & security issues
Incident, change & problem management based on ITIL standards
Documentation & SOPs: creation and maintenance of technical documentation
Advising our clients on innovative security technologies and solutions
Design & architecture of sometimes highly complex infrastructures
Taking on (partial) project leadership

Experience with NextGen firewalls, including IPS, VPN, proxy
Network knowledge: routing & switching (BGP, OSPF, VRF, VLAN, STP, 802.1X)
Authentication services: MFA, AAA, RADIUS/TACACS, LDAP, SAML
PKI & certificate management (X.509)
Experience in cloud security, e.g., with Check Point CloudGuard or Cisco Secure Cloud Analytics
Analysis and debugging tools such as Wireshark, tcpdump or Packet Tracer
German (at least C1) and English (at least B1/B2)
Professional-level certifications (e.g., Cisco, Check Point, Palo Alto)
