About this role
Role Overview
- Provide a clinical assessment to determine the level of behavioral health and substance use services needed
- Maintain a therapeutic and safe environment while persons supported receive services
- Participate in team meetings and discharge planning
- Serve as a resource for non-licensed staff
- Perform interviews with individuals and/or families to aid in identifying presenting problems
- Provide expertise in assessing psychiatric crises and crisis intervention
- Maintain necessary medical records in compliance with guidelines
- Assist individuals and families in meeting psychosocial needs
- Provide crisis assessments, stabilization, and service coordination
- Maintain licensure as required by licensing board
- Maintain positive working relationships within the communities served
- Be an active participant in the ongoing continuous quality improvement activities of the agency
- Provide clinical consultation as required or requested
Requirements
- LCSW-A
- LCMHC-A
- LMFT-A
- Counseling/Therapy Experience | Not Required
- Experience in a crisis management setting | 1 Year | Required
- Masters: Human Services (Required)
