Senior Backend Engineer, Data Infrastructure

Role Overview

• Design and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-efficient cloud architectures
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for machine learning model deployment
• Build scalable backend systems, APIs, and microservices
• Leverage Docker and container orchestration platforms (e.g., AWS ECS)
• Construct and manage ETL pipelines for large-scale data processing
• Collaborate with data scientists to deploy machine learning models into production
• Set up systems for continuous monitoring and performance tracking of models

Requirements

• Proficiency with AWS services (API Gateway, S3, ECS)
• Experience with Docker and Linux containers
• Strong background in database management, specifically DynamoDB
• Expertise in Python and frameworks like FastAPI
• Familiarity with asynchronous web frameworks
• Experience in API integration and security, including token management and Cognito
• Knowledge of Terraform and CI/CD processes
• Understanding of workflow or data ingestion tools (e.g., Step Functions, Airflow)
• Experience with ChatGPT or prompt engineering is a plus
• Background in data engineering
