Compliance Officer

Role Overview

• Maintain and update global compliance policies and governance frameworks.
• Monitor global regulatory requirements related to responsible business conduct and update policies as needed.
• Conduct compliance risk assessments, identify gaps, and implement effective compliance management systems.
• Deliver compliance training to employees and maintain accurate training records.
• Conduct enhanced due diligence on business partners where required.
• Manage the Gift and Hospitality Register.
• Oversee the Speak ‑ Up process and investigate reported concerns or potential violations.
• Advise on ethical dilemmas and conflicts of interest.
• Support global statutory filings, entity governance, and cross ‑ border compliance obligations.
• Monitor and strengthen internal controls to prevent fraud, misconduct, and financial irregularities.
• Conduct investigations into suspected fraud or policy breaches with discretion and professionalism.
• Support internal and external compliance audits as required.
• Promote a culture of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct across the organisation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree: Law, Compliance, Governance, Environmental Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compliance, governance, or risk roles within multinational or multi ‑ jurisdictional organisations.
• Experience with fraud risk management, investigations, or internal controls.
• Strong understanding of global regulatory environments and data protection requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multicultural, geographically dispersed teams.
