Role Overview
- Develops the provider network through contract negotiations
- Leads associate resources, special projects, or network planning
- Serves as a subject matter expert for local contracting efforts
- Conducts the most complex negotiations
- Prepares financial projections and conducts analysis
- Collaborates with sales team for presentations to employer groups
Requirements
- Requires a BA/BS degree
- Minimum of 8 years’ experience in contracting (value based, shared savings and ACO development)
- Experience in provider relations and provider servicing
- Prior contracting experience required
- Strong experience conducting thorough research
- Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships
- Experience using financial models and analysis to negotiate rates with providers
