About this role

Define the technical direction of the cloud platform and develop architecture principles.
Collaborate closely with Tech Leads, Staff Engineers and Cloud Platform Engineers.
Support teams in building infrastructure.
Assist development teams in adopting and using the platform.

Extensive experience (typically around ten years) in developing and operating production software and cloud systems.
Responsibility for architectural decisions and technical leadership roles.
Experience evolving technical standards or platforms across multiple projects.
DevOps mindset and experience working remotely.
Clear communication with customers, Tech Leads and engineering teams.
Structured and analytical problem-solving approach and transparency in technical challenges.
Understanding of security and compliance requirements (ISO 27001 or similar).
Willingness to take on on-call responsibilities for platform operations.
Experience with technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Serverless, Pulumi or Terraform, GitHub or GitLab, Elastic Cloud, Prometheus or Grafana is a major plus.
Good German language skills.
