Review & posting of daily and weekly POS sales in NetSuite for all theaters
Ownership of weekly credit card reconciliations for all theaters
Assist with manual logging of Private Event Sales every week for all theaters
Provide support with filing monthly & quarterly sales tax returns
Assist with the preparation and sending of monthly sales reporting to landlords
Assist with the preparation of monthly rent payments to landlords
Support timely month-end close process for all theaters, including but not limited to: record guest counts, record adjusting and reclassification journal entries, ensure all POS sales are recorded, and that no discrepancies exist between NetSuite and sales reports, reconciliations, expense accruals, review P&L, and look for any expenses mis-coded
Perform monthly and quarterly balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with internal inquiries from other departments or theaters, as well as external requests
Participate in cross-functional or process enhancement projects
Support Senior Accountants with reconciliations and financial projects as needed
Assist with one-off projects assigned
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field, or commensurate experience.
1-3 years of accounting experience
NetSuite experience helpful
Strong accounting, quantitative, and analytical skills, and the ability to accurately apply key U.S. GAAP and IFRS principles to different business situations.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment, with expectations of increasing responsibility and scope over time as proficiency in the position develops.
Demonstrates an especially strong sense of ethics and integrity.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including excellent written, oral, listening, and presentation skills.
Ability to work well under pressure and interact at all levels.
Capable of handling multiple tasks, possesses good organizational and analytical skills, able to work independently, and is extremely flexible.
