Plan and monitor international shipments, ensuring delivery deadlines and contractual requirements are met.
Coordinate door-to-door import processes, from the purchase order through customs clearance and delivery to the plant or final destination.
Interact with international suppliers, customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, banks and internal departments (tax, accounting, finance, engineering, production planning and control
PCP, quality, etc.).
Review and validate import documents (invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of analysis, among others).
Monitor customs clearance and ensure correct fiscal and tax classification of goods.
Track performance indicators (lead time, logistics costs, warehousing) and propose continuous improvement actions.
Prepare international quotations, cost simulations and economic feasibility analyses.
Ensure compliance with purchasing policy and applicable legislation (SISCOMEX, RADAR, NCM, taxes, import licenses, etc.).
Participate in audits, process reviews and the development of new foreign suppliers.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Relations, Business Administration, Logistics or related fields.
Knowledge of import processes and international logistics.
Experience with export processes (desirable).
Tariff classification (NCM), Incoterms and customs regimes.
Foreign trade legislation and import documentation.
