Actively shape usability engineering and support design validation in agile development projects – from initial concept to market launch
Plan and conduct realistic user tests – both internal and external – with a strong focus on users, including documentation and compliance with relevant standards
Represent the user perspective, provide key input during requirements elicitation and risk analysis
Contribute your expertise purposefully to the development process
Independently coordinate complex work packages, manage internal and external partners, and ensure results are delivered on time and to a high standard
Prepare product approvals by compiling and preparing all necessary documentation for international market authorizations (e.g., EU, USA, China)
Requirements
Completed Master's degree, ideally in Human Factors Engineering, Psychology, or an engineering/natural sciences discipline with a focus on Human Factors
Several years of professional experience in the development of medical devices or in vitro diagnostics
Strong expertise in planning and conducting user tests
Experienced in working with internal and external partners and in deriving actionable design recommendations
Comfortable working in an agile, dynamic environment; solution-oriented, able to contribute innovative ideas and act responsibly
Clear and persuasive communication, confident presence, and business-fluent English – both written and spoken
