Independently take on development tasks in PLC programming, from subsystems to complete systems and plants
Create and maintain modular templates in the development environment
Assess feasibility, effort and risks
Contribute to the preparation of technical documents such as customer requirements and functional specifications, test plans and retrofit instructions
Work closely with interface partners inside and outside the development department
Communicate with and support external service providers

A degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field with several years of professional experience
Alternatively, a certification as a technician (e.g., Automation Technology) with long-standing professional experience
Strong experience in developing PLC programs using TIA Portal and Automation Studio, and with the programming languages SCL, FUP and KOP
Experience in the development and commissioning of high-quality capital equipment
Good knowledge in the control and regulation of drives and control loops
Knowledge of high-level languages such as C# is an advantage
Excellent German and English skills
Willingness to travel (including occasional international travel)
