Provide consulting services in support of design, startup, and maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
Provide technical support to plant operations as well as for capital projects
Network with Qnity resources and cross-functional teams to achieve timely solutions to business problems
Specify equipment per regulatory compliance and solve problems related to equipment performance and reliability
Work on devices in multiple voltage classes from 480V up through 35 kV
Contribute to efforts involving lightning arrestors, switchgear, distribution transformers, protective relays, breakers, switches, fuses, cables, Motor Control Centers, motors, and Adjustable Speed Drives
Requirements
BS or MS in Electrical Engineering
10 or more years of experience in the Chemical Process or related industries
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and able to function independent of supervision
Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
Excellent time management skills
Knowledge of related plant operational practices such as Process Safety Management and MIQA Statistical Engineering
