Network Security Engineer II

Role Overview

• Applies cybersecurity and privacy principles to organizational requirements
• Analyzes, streamlines, and automates operational tasks and processes
• Defines network security standards and implements technologies to measure conformance
• Designs and implements cybersecurity rules for network components
• Provides engineering and operational support for network resources
• Identifies potential network security threats/anomalies and mitigates them
• Configures and troubleshoots site to site (S2S), point to site (P2S), virtual network peering
• Automates routine operational network security tasks
• Collaborates with key stakeholders on network infrastructure security

Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field (e.g., statistics, mathematics, engineering, computer science)
• 2 – 4 years of related experience
• Experience with Check Point
• Experience with Ansible
• Experience with and AlgoSec
• Experience with Python
• Experience with Network security technologies (ex., Firewalls)
• Knowledge of Network security tools like Wireshark, Snort, Nagios, etc.
