Building Science Project Engineer – Experienced, Property Condition Assessments

Role Overview

• Conduct assessments of buildings to evaluate the condition of the building systems
• Provide recommendations for immediate repairs
• Conduct appropriate site reconnaissance, data compilation and organization, and project research
• Technical report authoring and preparation of quality supporting documents
• Plan, schedule, and track project timelines and milestones
• Provide solid recommendations and solutions to the Project Manager and client

Requirements

• A Bachelors or Graduate Degree in Architecture or related Engineering Field (Civil, Mechanical, etc.)
• 5+ years of experience in architecture, engineering and/or construction/cost estimating
• 3+ years of experience performing property inspections
• 2+ years of experience completing similar work for financial institutions
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
• Candidate must have a valid driver’s license and provide own transportation to and from project sites
