Senior Cyber Security Consultant

Role Overview

• Actively support the development of regulatory-compliant products across various industries such as automotive and medical technology.
• Apply technical and interpersonal skills flexibly to act, depending on the situation, as a consultant, cyber security engineer, process developer, facilitator/moderator, or coach.
• Perform gap analyses, reviews, assessments, and audits against normative requirements, best practices, and industry standards.
• Design and implement cyber security strategies, processes, and policies to protect internal infrastructure.
• Support the FSQ brand leads in further developing the cyber security business strategy.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a comparable field.
• At least 5 years of solid professional experience in cyber security.
• Keep up to date with cyber security trends and market developments and integrate them innovatively into consulting services.
• Experience with cyber security methods and concepts such as threat modeling, encryption, and secure communication.
• Familiarity with at least one industry-relevant cyber security standard (e.g., ISO 21434 for automotive or IEC 81001-5-1 for medical technology).
• Business fluent in German and English (minimum level C1 in both languages).
• Willingness to travel occasionally and to participate in client projects within Germany and abroad.
