About this role
Role Overview
- Optimize and extend existing customer software systems and processes
- Resolve incidents in customer software systems according to the ITIL process
- Design, estimate, develop and implement new software features, and maintain ongoing technical documentation
- Technical lead for software change requests (organization/development/implementation)
- Continuous independent professional development and independently conduct training for internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for selected customers
- Organize and run customer workshops
Requirements
- Experience in software development and proficiency in C/C++
- Several years of relevant professional experience
- Strong Unix skills
- Completed (higher) education in IT or engineering is a plus
- Understanding of relational databases (Oracle)
- Good command of English
- Strong communication skills and enjoyment of customer interaction
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 20% of annual working time)
- Team-oriented, responsible, and articulate
