Role Overview
BDO are seeking an experienced and motivated Customs Manager who will work with Directors and Partner to assist and manage clients customs compliance requirements.
This role requires a strong technical background in customs regulations, combined with a proactive mindset and a genuine willingness to continue learning and evolving in a dynamic trade environment.**
The ideal candidate will bring both expertise and a collaborative mindset. Someone confident in their knowledge but equally open to new ideas and continuous improvement.****
Requirements
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience in customs and/or trade compliance
- Strong working knowledge of EU customs regulations and procedures
- Attention to detail
- A good communicator
- Strong IT skills
- Understanding of and experience using ERP systems
- Proven ability to manage customs operations with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Commercial approach
