Support projects through bidding and construction administration
Partner with clients to gather requirements, communicate technical information, and maintain strong working relationships
Lead project planning, budgeting, and scheduling to meet deadlines and objectives; document design decisions and client direction while monitoring percent complete and fee expended
Analyze engineering problems, propose solutions, and collaborate with senior engineers/consultants on practical approaches
Prioritize safety and regulatory compliance by interpreting state/local design criteria and applying them to project needs
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated solutions aligned with project goals; identify potential project issues and seek guidance from the Project Manager as needed
Requirements
Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent required
Professional Engineer (PE) License required
2 years of experience minimum required, 4 preferred, in the Civil Engineering and Construction Industry
Proficiency in design techniques, tools, and concepts involved in the production of technical plans and specifications
Strong technical and analytical skills in the civil engineering field
Ability to train and mentor less experienced staff
Ability to lead teams with others that utilize industry standard software that assists with civil engineering analysis and design
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Eagerness to adapt to new challenges
Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability to travel up to 10% with occasional overnight stays
