About this role
Role Overview
Contribute to challenging data and visual analytics projects across all project phases using agile SCRUM project management
Take responsibility for collecting, integrating and analyzing global data from various systems and heterogeneous data sources
Identify relevant patterns, relationships and trends in data to generate well-founded insights and decision support
Ensure data accuracy, completeness and quality, and establish sustainable, repeatable analysis and reporting processes
Independently analyze business questions, define challenges and develop appropriate, customer-oriented solution concepts
Design and implement visualizations and dashboards following established best practices and modern visual analytics methods
Develop custom, interactive visualizations and scalable analytics applications
Design intuitive visual user interfaces and support UI development to optimize users' interaction with the data
Provide subject-matter support to all company units — including business units and interdisciplinary skill teams — in the area of Visual Analytics
Requirements
Degree in a quantitative or analytically oriented field (e.g., Business Informatics, Data Science) or equivalent qualification
Fluent German and English, both written and spoken
Minimum of 3 years' professional experience designing, implementing and optimizing interactive dashboards and reports with Microsoft Power BI
Experience collaborating with business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into clear, meaningful KPIs and storytelling dashboards
Confident working knowledge of DAX, Power Query (M) and relational data models
Solid expertise in data preparation, modeling and performance optimization
Routine working with SQL databases and connecting heterogeneous data sources
Strong quality awareness, analytical thinking and a keen sense for usability and visual design
Excellent analytical skills, structured working style and a healthy dose of pragmatism
