About this role
Role Overview
- Advising, supporting and caring for people who depend on medical aids and assistive devices
- Representing our company and its service areas in hospitals and care facilities, actively acquiring customers and maintaining client relationships
- Advising patients, physicians and nursing staff in the hospital from the pre-operative phase through to ensuring adequate home care
- Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and deriving and implementing appropriate measures
- Coordinating the transition of patients discharged from hospitals, other institutions or referred by third parties
- Instructing medical personnel in healthcare facilities or home care services on the use of assistive devices
Requirements
- Successfully completed vocational training as a (pediatric) nurse, general nurse, geriatric nurse or comparable health professional
- Ideally, additional certified training in urotherapy, stoma therapy and/or continence management (nursing specialist)
- Several years of professional experience in nursing
- Strong specialist knowledge of clinical indications and provision/supply areas
- Initial experience in conducting training sessions and/or presentations is advantageous
- Strong sales and customer orientation, combined with a high degree of independence and organizational skills
- Commercial interest, basic numeracy and MS Office skills
- Team player with excellent communication skills
- Goal-oriented and reliable work approach combined with a high level of commitment
- Flexibility, openness to change and willingness to travel, as occasional overnight stays in the region may be required
