Build and operate a highly scalable, globally deployed email security solution
Design, implement, deploy, and maintain components from initial concept through production operations
Develop filtering plugins, internal tools, and management infrastructure
Integrate third-party products into Linux-based and cloud stacks
Build and maintain public APIs for email processing and configuration
Extend monitoring, alerting, and log aggregation capabilities
Troubleshoot and debug production systems
Manage life-cycle and optimize existing deployments, including cloud-native environments

Higher education (ETH, university, FH) in Computer Science or a related field
2+ years of professional experience in a relevant role
Proficiency in software development with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Perl, Python) and a concurrent compiled language (e.g., Go, C++, C#, Rust)
Experience with Linux or another UNIX-based operating system, including comfort working at the system level
Knowledge of email protocols and security standards: SMTP, TLS, DNS, DKIM, DMARC
Familiarity with software and system testing practices
Understanding of monitoring and observability principles
Fluent in English
Clear communication skills and ability to work both in a team and independently
