Role Overview
- Responsible for designing, coding, testing, and maintaining applications using Java, with front-end development skills, system architecture, database integration, and problem-solving, focusing on ensuring performance, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java (Quarkus, Spring Boot), Maven, EJB, WebLogic; experience with Node.js, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, JavaScript, and CSS; databases: MySQL, Oracle, and Hive.
- Hands-on DevOps experience.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Microsoft Solutions Framework (MSF), Extreme Programming (XP), Lean Manufacturing).
- Concepts of distributed computing and microservices.
- Container orchestration (Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, Rancher).
- Kubernetes clusters and their resources.
- Docker containers.
- Continuous delivery processes and tools: CI/CD, Jenkins, and Argo.
- Public clouds: IBM Cloud, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and AWS.
- Building cloud monitoring solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience developing and integrating REST APIs.
- Codebase and build management, version control with Git and GitLab.
