Role Overview
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining observability solutions across non-production and production environments
- Ensuring system health and performance through Splunk, Splunk ITSI, synthetic transaction monitoring, application performance monitoring (APM), and network performance monitoring
- Configuring and managing monitoring tools, primarily Splunk and Splunk ITSI
- Implementing synthetic transaction and APM solutions to proactively detect issues
- Maintaining network performance visibility and alerting
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve observability coverage
- Documenting monitoring standards, configurations, and processes
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years in monitoring/observability roles with hands-on experience in Splunk and ITSI or related tooling
- Strong expertise in Splunk and ITSI
- Familiarity with synthetic monitoring and APM tools
- Understanding of network performance monitoring
- Scripting skills (Python, Shell, PowerShell) are an asset
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation abilities
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Splunk certifications (e.g., Splunk Core Certified Power User, Splunk ITSI Certified) preferred
