About this role
Role Overview
Ensure our insurance acceptance analyses are conducted with rigor, accuracy and credibility.
Assess everything from vehicle structure to customizations that may impact risk.
Detect fraud, verify declared information and recommend approval or rejection of an inspection.
Perform digital inspections of cars, vans and trucks, with a specialty in motorcycles.
Assess vehicle structure.
Vehicle identification (chassis/VIN, engine number and identification plates).
Overall condition and level of preservation.
Presence of pre-existing damage.
Accessories and customizations relevant to risk.
Ensure correct and complete capture of mandatory images.
Check discrepancies between declared information and the inspected vehicle.
Identify signs of tampering, re-marking or any indication of fraud.
Evaluate compatibility of make/model, trim and characteristics with the reference table and the documents provided.
Provide a technical recommendation to approve, adjust or deny the inspection, justifying decisions with objective criteria.
Classify damages that may impact acceptance or require FIPE/price adjustments.
Support areas such as Acceptance/Underwriting, Anti-Fraud, Operations and Product teams by offering specialized technical insight on motorcycles.
Participate in analysis of critical cases and support high-impact technical decisions.
Contribute insights for continuous improvement of the inspection workflow, processes and integrations.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Insurance Management or related fields.
Prior experience in vehicle inspection, preferably focused on motorcycles.
Experience in acceptance, underwriting, insurance companies or vehicle inspection firms.
Investigative profile and anti-fraud stance.
Automotive knowledge: understanding of mechanics and bodywork.
Vehicle identification: ability to locate and verify chassis/VIN numbers, engine numbers, security labels/plates and make/model.
Basic computer skills: ability to use internal inspection systems and Microsoft Office.
Solid prior experience in the automotive sector, including auction yards or ECV (Accredited Vehicle Inspection Company).
Vehicle Inspector certification recognized by DETRAN.
Knowledge of repaint detection: ability to identify paint defects and structural repairs.
Specialization in high-displacement motorcycles.
Experience with digital pre-inspections and claims inspections.
Knowledge of risk analysis for acceptance.
Knowledge of Cilia and Audatex systems.
