Participate in the preparation of the annual audit and review plan, providing input on the processes to be audited.
Prepare audit planning, scope and work programs (detailing the tests and analyses to be performed to identify the occurrence of fraud risk and financial deviations) related to the processes and documents to be evaluated, aiming to structure the work to be performed for each audit.
Assess the effectiveness and application of accounting, financial and operational controls to ensure compliance with applicable policies and procedures, analyzing potential process weaknesses and the realization of risks.
Conduct targeted audits to investigate possible accounting, financial or operational irregularities in the company’s internal procedures as requested by senior management.
Prepare internal audit reports highlighting findings, recommendations and corrective action plans, and follow up with departments on implementation.
Prepare and lead meetings (opening, interim and closing) with the audited areas.
Report progress of audit activities to the immediate supervisor to allow monitoring and ensure the audit schedule is not compromised.
Stay continuously updated on internal regulations and standards issued by relevant authorities and regulatory bodies related to ongoing audits.
Support Continuous Audit by developing new indicators using available tools and executing existing indicators according to the defined periodicity.
Promote a culture of ethics and compliance across the organization, acting as a role model and promoting adherence to high ethical standards, while contributing to the maintenance of Libbs’ integrity program.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree;
Experience with SAP or similar systems;
Experience in process mapping, risk identification, report preparation and recommending improvements;
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills;
Knowledge of the COSO methodology/framework;
Knowledge of The IIA’s International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing;
