About this role
Role Overview
- Develop the DEWALT ConTech Connectivity & Network Strategy with input from Category, Tools Product Management and Sales team members
- Familiarize with industry trends, assess market opportunities, develop connected tools & asset deployment workflows across the different C&I trades
- Build and execute the connectivity and network product roadmap
- Partner with Tools Product Managers to develop end-user-focused product requirements for connected tools
- Support new product development (NPD) and connected product derivative (DMOD) program execution
- Conduct regular site visits to understand end-user needs and pain points related to connectivity
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred)
- Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the IoT or connected devices space
- Strong understanding of hardware and embedded software development processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy considerations for connected devices
- Experience with Microsoft 365 productivity and business applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, etc.)
- Comfort on commercial construction sites and experience using power tools
