Accountable for the daily management of team activities, including serving as the technical leader for assigned area of responsibility.
Conduct regular meetings, that include issue discussions.
Resolve issues as appropriate and escalate issues further as needed.
Ensure department systems and procedures are in compliance with company policies.
Seek and recommend process improvements for departmental procedures.
Participate in and actively support the integration of new businesses into Shared Services Center.
Ensure to follow the Corporate Closing Calendar and all task deadlines are reached with accuracy and quality expected.
Enforce and enhance internal control structure and ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley control objectives.
Support Internal and External Audit requirements in a timely and accurate manner, and internal Balance Sheet Reviews performed by Corporate Controllership and BU Controllership Teams.
Requirements
Bachelor´s Degree on Accounting with 3 + years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required.
Minimum 1 or 2 years of experience in lead role in a finance or accounting function is a plus.
Experience in ERP migration, HFM and Black Line is a plus.
Proficient in SBD’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (SAP) is a plus.
Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and processes including experience in the RTR processes (GL Accounting).
Ability to multitask, highly organized.
Excellent problem identification and prioritization.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge/experience in US GAAP is a plus.
