Role Overview
- Drive the development of leading-edge technology in photomask metrology
- Translate customer requirements into optimized system concepts
- Analyze system requirements and define key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Perform in-depth system characterization and optimize error budgets
- Take ownership of sub-system components across the development lifecycle
- Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams
- Act as a technical sparring partner for internal teams and customer sites
- Contribute expertise in an international environment
Requirements
- Master’s degree or higher in Physics or Engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in systems development, preferably within the semiconductor industry
- Solid expertise in applied optics and measurement and control engineering
- Strong analytical mindset with a structured, data-driven approach
- Experience with error budgeting and tolerance stack‑up modeling
- Confident communication skills in English, both written and spoken
- Enjoy working in diverse, international teams
- Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 40%)
- EU work permit required
