Role Overview
- Develop and maintain test databases for automated validation testing
- Create and execute test plans, manual and automated test cases
- Create use cases and identify gaps in use cases/test cases
- Develop and execute test suites for iOS mobile applications
- Influence the definition of requirements and software design
- Develop and extend test cases and plans as software features evolve
- Build test frameworks and methodologies that define the testing process
- Work closely with the software development team to identify and correct defects
- Collaborate with Development, QA, and IT teams
- Participate in product and shared component design reviews
Requirements
- BS in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a similar field preferred
- 1 year of professional experience
- In-depth knowledge of software testing methodology
- Strong software skills including Java, Kotlin, Swift, Python, C, or C++
- Proficiency with source control, continuous integration, and testing methods (e.g., Git, Perforce)
- Familiarity with Continuous Build Systems such as Jenkins or Bamboo
- Experience or exposure to API testing tools (e.g., REST clients, Postman, or similar tools)
- Familiarity with dependency management and build tooling (e.g., Gradle, CocoaPods, Swift Package Manager)
- Understanding of IEC 62304, ISO 14971, FDA regulations is a plus
