Monitor and manage the coordination, planning, and execution of projects, focusing on engineering documentation such as LLD, NDD, DCN designs, Link Diagrams, and ATP documents
Translate high-level designs into detailed engineering designs in collaboration with systems engineers
Lead communication and acceptance test with end user
Lead complex Network deployment or Reconfiguration
Support field service technicians and site leads in achieving engineering objectives related to deployment (installation, Commissioning, and integration)
Interface directly with customers to deliver engineering designs and provide technical solutions, including synchronization and network design
Make informed decisions impacting project scheduling, planning, and deliverables to ensure timely completion
Resolve technical challenges and escalate issues when necessary, acting as the first point of escalation for field service technicians
Ensure adherence to quality standards and technical documentation in all project phases
Requirements
Foundational knowledge in optical transmission systems (submarine, long haul, metro, DCI)
Control plane networks (L-0 and L-1), OTN, SDH, Ethernet technology
5 years experience in field service engineering, particularly with telecommunications and networking equipment
Proficiency in hardware installations and troubleshooting complex technical issues
Familiarity with network management systems and related tools
Hands-on experience with submarine, DWDM/OTN links integration, commissioning, and acceptance testing
