Role Overview
Serve as the primary People Partner for Market 1, supporting clubs across Northern California, Reno, and Hawaii through strong relationships and consistent in‑market presence.
Lead workforce management strategies—including staffing, scheduling, and retention—by analyzing data and driving consistent execution of people initiatives across a complex, multi‑state market.
Advise and coach leaders on company policies, people practices, and compliance with state and federal employment regulations, navigating varying regulatory environments with consistency and sound judgment.
Own market‑level talent strategies, including recruiting, performance management, talent reviews, and succession planning, while acting as a trusted advisor to remove barriers and support business priorities.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in an HR related field (e.g., Industrial Relations) and 2 years of combined managerial experience supervising salaried Associates; OR 4 years of combined managerial experience supervising salaried Associates, including at least 2 years experience with HR management responsibilities (e.g., staffing, performance management, coaching and mentoring, training, compensation, promotion)
Experience leading HR or People initiatives for a multi‑site or geographically dispersed workforce, ideally in complex or highly regulated environments.
Strong ability to influence leaders, build trust, and partner effectively across levels and functions.
Data‑driven mindset with experience using workforce and talent insights to guide decisions and actions.
Knowledge of talent acquisition, workforce planning, performance management, and succession planning, with the ability to balance consistency and local nuance.
