About this role
Role Overview
Responsible for achieving sales targets, revenue and gross margin in the region.
Actively acquire, retain and grow business in the DACH region.
Manage and implement the local sales network, including agents and finders.
Manage existing customers and develop new business in target industries.
Provide competent advice to customers and sales partners on the technical features and applications of the technology.
Independently negotiate with customers within company guidelines.
Majority of working time spent visiting customers.
Conduct sales analyses and planning in cooperation with marketing.
Build and maintain a pipeline of leads.
Requirements
Engineering degree (mechanical or electrical) or equivalent qualification.
5–7 years' sales experience selling machine tools.
Proven strong sales track record.
Fluent in German and English.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong negotiation skills; results-driven.
Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Demonstrated ability to develop strong customer relationships.
Proactive, passionate about sales with a strong drive to achieve targets.
Willingness to travel regularly.
Valid driver's license.
