Supports the development and delivery of energy efficiency programs by providing engineering calculations, measurement and verification, and utility program technical design and assistance
Leads design and development of technical strategies, conducts analysis to inform and recommend energy savings, and develops plans and provides reporting that contributes to the success of client programs
Provides general project oversight, quality control/assurance, and continuously informs customers and project team of updates and necessary adjustments
Support energy assessments and field work directly with customers and contractors
Requirements
0-3+ years’ experience
BS Engineering degree
FE/EIT preferred
Calculate energy savings for projects in our programs using standard engineering principles including physics, mechanics, electrical, thermodynamics, mathematics, and statistics
Participate in energy audits to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements
Support development of measures characteristics for program planning and BD efforts, with technical oversight
Understand building energy end uses and energy impacts of industrial processes
Support analysis of energy efficiency projects using various tools and software
Prioritize safety in all actions and tasks
Become familiar with the energy efficiency industry, industry trends, regulations and best practices related to energy efficiency and sustainability
