As a Senior Structural Designer, you will have the opportunity to creatively solve complex problems, collaborate with highly experienced team members across all engineering disciplines, and work on a wide variety of challenging projects across many industries.
Work with a structural engineer to develop designs for clients that range in a simple sketch to full, ready to permit drawing packages.
Develop plan and detail drawings for concrete foundations and steel buildings and supports.
Incorporate vendor drawings to accurately display anchoring and mounting support, i.e pump bases, motor supports and equipment mounting.
Coordinate with mechanical, civil, and electrical staff to develop efficient designs and identify and mitigate interferences between disciplines.
Coordinate with clients and contractors.
Travel will comprise approximately 10% of your time for site investigations, design reviews and construction inspection and coordination.
