Research, design, develop and customize mechanical systems and components that fulfil product/customer specification and applicable standards and regulations.
Identify solutions to improve and optimize products.
Maintain accurate records of design iterations and changes.
Promote and encourage the incorporation of new technological trends that make the operation of the area more complete, effective, efficient and profitable, ensuring and improving the service provided to customers.
Define, plan and execution of test plans.
Assess all engineering prototypes to determine issues or risks.
Estimate cost and budgets for new designs.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems within larger projects.
Promote the continuous improvement process, often re-evaluating processes and working methods.
Ensure compliance with the company's policy for quality, environment, and safety.
Requirements
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
1-3 years of experience in similar positions
Proficiency in CAD software for 2D and 3D design
Strong knowledge of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
Calculation and dimensioning
Solid English skills (verbal and written)
Autonomous, self-motivated and proactive attitude.
