About this role
Role Overview
Lead the architecture and modeling of analytical data focused on product metrics and the customer journey
Serve as the technical reference for the Analytics Engineering team, promoting quality standards, versioning, and documentation for code and data pipelines
Plan, review, and evolve pipelines in SQL, dbt, and other tools in our stack
Ensure governance, reliability, and data quality for experimentation (e.g., A/B tests), dashboards, and product analyses
Collaborate with cross-functional squads to identify opportunities, define metrics, support decision-making, and measure the impact of features and improvements
Mentor and develop the team technically, disseminating best practices in data and product engineering
Stay up to date with analytics engineering trends, introducing innovations and automations to increase efficiency and competitiveness
Actively participate in defining, implementing, and evolving centralized, documented, and maintained metrics (the "source of truth") for the entire organization
Promote a collaborative, inclusive, and impact-driven environment
Requirements
Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, or related fields
Strong experience in data modeling, building data marts, and developing scalable analytical pipelines
Strong experience with SQL for handling and transforming large volumes of data
Relevant experience with dbt and code versioning tools (Git/GitHub)
Practical knowledge of Python for data extraction and pipeline orchestration
Experience in technical leadership of data squads in a product context
Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences, with emphasis on clarity and influence
Familiarity with BI tools (Metabase, Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
