Provide the team with the information needed to perform bank reconciliations and ensure payroll tax reconciliations are completed within the established closing deadlines.
Identify daily operational issues and month-end closing challenges, and propose effective solutions.
Assist in preparing documentation and responding to client audit requirements.
Support the hiring process for new team members and help guide new employees during onboarding.
Maintain updated operational status reports and share them as needed or requested by the client.
Respond promptly to all client inquiries and requests.
Supervise team performance to ensure high-quality work and compliance with client deadlines.
Assist with administrative tasks required by the department.
Provide support to the direct supervisor with day-to-day assignments.
Assist in transitioning bank accounts into Intacct.
Requirements
Technical degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 1 year of accounting experience.
Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel (pivot tables and formulas), Word, and email.
