Role Overview
- Create production-ready CAD drawings for countertop jobs.
- Review field measurements, job details, and specifications for accuracy.
- Determine seam placement, cutout locations, edge details, splash details, and fabrication methods.
- Coordinate with project managers, measure technicians, shop personnel, and installers to resolve discrepancies.
- Revise drawings and programs as needed.
- Help ensure jobs are fabrication-ready, accurate, and installable.
- Program CNC equipment for fabrication.
Requirements
- CAD drafting experience required.
- Experience in countertop, cabinetry, or millwork preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to read field measurements and architectural/shop drawings.
- Practical understanding of countertop fabrication and installation methods.
- CNC programming experience preferred.
- AutoCAD experience required.
