About this role
Role Overview
Provide therapeutic support and specialist medical consultation to oncologists in hospitals and in outpatient practices
Analyze and evaluate available market data, e.g., by conducting market and potential analyses and identifying market opportunities
Consistently implement company strategy and measures to ensure target achievement
Prepare account plans and manage the available budget responsibly
Implement account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all regulations and codes
Coordinate closely and collaborate with internal stakeholders regarding stakeholder insights and information within AstraZeneca
Develop innovative educational and training concepts that address current customer needs
Participate in congresses, sponsorships and events
Requirements
Completed degree in business administration or a natural science, or an equivalent qualification, or certified pharmaceutical representative
Several years of field sales experience supporting specialist physicians and experience in oncology or other specialty care areas or in specialist medical care
Solid product, market and customer knowledge and an understanding of health policy contexts
Confident presence with persuasiveness and enthusiasm, even in challenging situations
Strong communication skills, strong customer orientation, high commitment and initiative
Business-fluent German and English, spoken and written
