Provide clinical and therapeutic consultation to oncologists in hospitals and in private practice.
Analyze and evaluate available market data, e.g., conduct market and potential analyses and identify opportunities in the market.
Consistently implement the company strategy and initiatives (continuing education concepts, training concepts) to ensure target achievement while taking into account the individual needs of each target group/customer.
Create account plans and use the available budget responsibly.
Execute account strategies and plans in strict compliance with all internal and external regulations and codes.
Closely coordinate and collaborate with internal interfaces (Sales, Medical & Marketing) regarding stakeholder insights and information within AstraZeneca to optimize marketing, sales and medical activities.
Develop innovative continuing-education concepts that address current customer needs.
Attend congresses, sponsored events and other functions as platforms for customer engagement and professional development.
Requirements
You have completed a degree in business administration or the natural sciences, a comparable qualification, or are a certified pharmaceutical representative.
You have several years of field-based experience supporting specialist physicians and experience in the oncology indication or in other specialty care areas or specialist medical care.
You possess solid product, market and customer knowledge and are familiar with health policy contexts.
You demonstrate a confident presence with persuasive ability and enthusiasm, even in challenging situations.
You have strong communication skills, a pronounced customer orientation, and a high level of commitment and initiative.
You have fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
