Apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and review educational material and guidance for general certification topics
Represent BDS Engineering in collaboration on Enterprise-wide certification discussions and workshops
Advise program leadership, certification focals and Technical Lead Engineers (TLEs)
Mentor current and future Certification TLEs
Consult on NARs (Non-Advocate Reviews), program gate reviews, or similar activities to assess project certification maturity
Contribute to BDS and Enterprise-wide certification guidance documents, command media, and Applicant processes
Author or co-author Design Practices (DPs) and participate in Technical Design Reviews (TDRs)
Requirements
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
9+ years’ experience with a Bachelor’s or 7+ years with a Master’s (Level 4)
14+ years’ experience with a Bachelor’s or 12+ years with a Master’s (Level 5)
5+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
4+ years of experience authoring and reviewing certification plans or deliverables for FAA and/or military certification projects
