About this role
Role Overview
- Administer and manage GitHub Enterprise (Cloud/Server) environments
- Implement and maintain RBAC, SAML/SSO, and access control strategies
- Define and enforce branch protection rules and governance policies
- Design and manage GitHub Actions workflows (YAML-based automation)
- Integrate and optimize CI/CD pipelines with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
- Ensure audit logging, compliance reporting, and access reviews
- Implement DevSecOps best practices within CI/CD pipelines
- Leverage GitHub Advanced Security (CodeQL, Secret Scanning) for secure development
- Develop automation scripts using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- Collaborate with development teams to standardize processes and improve platform adoption
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Git-based version control administration
- 8+ years of hands-on experience managing GitHub Enterprise
- Strong expertise in: RBAC, SAML/SSO
- Branch protection strategies
- GitHub Actions & workflow automation
- Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Strong experience in: Audit logging & compliance reporting
- Access governance and reviews
- 8+ years of proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
- Hands-on experience implementing DevSecOps practices
- High experience with GitHub Advanced Security tools
